Assuming that this is supposed to be left vs right team map, the colors should be changed so that the FTA is countered by team membership. |

Tmi489 (10/27/2016 04:17pm):
Colors go with the theme of the map. FTA should be fixed by having the city closest to the left countries being of the country right of them. Unown the cites that mirror that on the right. |

Right, if I recall correctly, for 1-base starts you'd just give the last turn player(s) (in this case, the entire right side) a preowned city within 1st-turn capture range of an enemy base. The funds surplus would help mitigate FTA but it isn't completely perfect, especially on an 8p map like this. |

Hey, everyone! Thanks for the suggestions, but as the title says: It consists of space-themed armies (Red Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, Cyan Galaxy, Magenta Cosmos, etc.) versus Element-themed armies (Amber Blaze, Purple Lightning, Cobalt Ice, Brown Desert, etc.). If there is more unfair advantages, I would willingly modify the map for this to be a fair play. (P.S. You can modify this map to be a fair play; just say the word and I'll let you do it.) |

I think it is wrong. Earth, moon, comet and starts are not spaces, but objects in space. If you are looking for space you should consider sky, dessert, cosmos and maybe black hole. Maybe some uneducated people say that a black hole is an object, but I think it is more fair to call it space(time). I think Wikipedia agrees with me, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole |

No, you misunderstood that. One of the cities already owned by the 2 countries is turned to neutral. The one that is 3 spaces from the base. Then, you give the right countries the neutral cities on the left side. |

Some of them are... but what I'm trying to point out is SPACE versus ELEMENTS; it's kind of a battle between space-themed (or objects in space, I categorized that still...) armies versus element-themed (Brown Desert, Cobalt Ice, like in Pokemon or any other game that has elements or Anima in Fire Emblem) armies. And... you want me to fill it or just a few are neutral? Either way, I'm still gonna modify it from time to time. I hope you understand these details. |

I understood the theme. Unown ALL cities. THEN, give the space teams a city in the opposing side's area. |

I might disagree that a black hole is spacetime, but I guess it depends on your perspective. A black hole is a singularity, a point of infinite density, which distorts the spacetime around it. Granted, it's this distortion that defines black hole behavior, but calling the spacetime distortion alone a "black hole" is like trying to say that a plane's engine's are not part of a plane, its "just the thing that makes the plane move". To me, the whole thing is a black hole, and therefore would not be "space". To the credit of the Wiki article, the volume that makes up a black hole is 99.9% "space", but the key part of the black hole is that 0.1% matter at the singularity. Physics does the rest by itself. |

Uh... sure. Next gameplay; there are 4 gameplays on the map right now, (lead by me and one being private, not lead by me.) and thanks for the suggestion... You might find your result in another copy of the map. |

Giving cities to counter FTA is only a half-good solution. The good solution is to give half a turn (of both the unit count and the income) to the second player / team. This is 2 infantries in terms of units count for the team. The fact that in this map there are also preowned cities makes it more complicated because the income FTA would have to be countered as well. The easiest solution for this problem is to make all cities neutral. |

Check out the beta version of this map, I got it balanced already. |
