YC, AB and RF Vs. OS, BM and GE. GE is Jochen, BM Vladimir and OS is Isabella (Rachel, but can only use COP.) YC is Iria (Eagle.), AB is Kanbei and RF is Sensei. FoW off, clean weather. Jochen: Yellow Comet, your days are numbered. Iria: Numbered, yes, our days, no. Sensei: You dare invade our homeland. Our lands aren't for you to plunder. Vladimir: We aren't here to plunder your lands. We're here to bring an end to this war. My people want it to be so. Jochen: Oh Vlad, you're at it again about peace. This is a show of strength, not a war of peacekeeping. Isabella: Come on now, we need to get along until Yellow Comet is defeated. Jochen: Can it, Isabella. Your peacekeeping is not wanted here. And I know you have a grudge against me and my people. Your whole country was a warmongering hell hole before the wars against Blue Moon and Green Earth. Isabella: You will pay for that one day. You will pa- Iria: Enough with your infighting! Are we going to sit here all day or what? Sensei: Why'd you stop them, they were almost about to turn the battleship guns at each other. Kanbei: Because promoting rivalries against your enemies is a dishonorable deed. Vladimir: I do have to say, Jochen is right. Orange Star was once the bane of the world. But that is the past, let it be. Jochen: Then be it, we're allies now. Iria: So let the battle commence. |

Also ban every than more expensive than a Md. Tank, besides naval units except subs, and planes. |

CCCP (11/05/2016 05:28pm):
Also those roads aren't roads at the beach, they're flattened terrain for better defenses. |

The Map looks interesting (8/10) from me Without having played the game yet, the map seems to need rebalancing. From my estimation the defenders should win pretty easily. The attackers start with 0 income and cannot build anything immidiately. This is balanced mainly against a strong GE air force. Still, I think the defenders will be able to establish a strong presence while the attackers are busy landing. The piperunners in the north are a problem for BM. With the help of GE this should not be a too big problem though I am not sure how to properly read your recommended unit ban list. IMO stealth and blackbomb and Megatank should be banned. |

The Bships should be able to attack the runners without threat, so they should be in time easily dealt with. The landing forces should able to sustain until they gain production facilities. GE is the main support for taking the beaches, OS is the heavy hitter before BM takes the north, and uses the high terrain values for heavy attacks. They are, if it is more expensive than a Md. Tank and not a plane, so bomber or fighter. It's banned. I also forgot to mention you should ban rockets. Also, it isn't a recommendation, as it is a campaign meant to fit before AW 1. As some hints provided during the prologues of missions. |

I'm looking forward to see more maps from you, since they're all so cool like those text-adventure maps. (which most of them died. *sad face inserted here*.) |

CCCP (11/10/2016 11:48pm):
There were text-adventure maps? I guess I joined a little late. |

observerandhost (11/11/2016 05:17am):
I remembered Bamboozle was hosting a text-adventure, and it seems to be still ongoing. http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=67890 Unfortunately I am not a good story teller, as I am always eager to see more like this. |

CCCP (11/11/2016 06:37pm):
Thank you all for the support. I've always thought Yellow Comet as an imperialistic aggressor before the events of AW 1, Blue Moon being an oppressive monarchy, Orange Star a warmongering empire, before the fall to become a republic, Green Earth as a militaristic and nationalist country. But that's just my take on these countries, I don't know yours. |

And as some of you may have wondered, as piperunners weren't invented yet, they're heavy, immobile artillery. Kinds of like the ones employed by the French on their defense lines, in an effort to protect from Germany during WWII. Of course, we all know how well that worked out. |
|
CCCP (11/11/2016 06:42pm):
Or was it the Belgians? I know their fortifications were meant to meet up, but one never completed the construction before the blitzkrieg. |
|
CCCP (11/11/2016 07:00pm):
Either way, that war had shown the impartiality of those forms of fortifications, as well as pillboxs, and trenches due to the mechanization of warfare. |
|
observerandhost (11/12/2016 03:34am):
Germans did not move through the defense of French directly. Instead they took another way to bypass the fortress. For AWBW, a fortress=narrow passage+strong indirects+good meatshield. Take a look on that GE mission and you will know what an anti-air force fortress is like. |

CCCP (11/12/2016 03:49am):
"Or was it the Belgians? I know their fortifications were meant to meet up, but one never completed the construction before the blitzkrieg. " I was implying they didn't directly go through. Though I never explicitly said it. Still, they did indeed use immobile artillery. And what GE mission? |
|
a9977321 (11/13/2016 06:09am):
In AW2 there is a GE mission where you order the GE Air force to take the Sea Fortress of Hawke, which include all kinds of anti-air stuffs and some minicanons. The fortress in this mission can be handled with ease even for tanks if the fortress is inland. The real Fortress is something which cost you valuable time to deal with. Even though your troops are mechanized, a well-built defense can stop you. Germans seemed to order their mechanized troops through the forests in Belgium(or mountains? I did not remember that) and French found their enemy magically appear at the back of their fortress. So the war was over before the French mobilized its military potential....... |
|
CCCP (11/14/2016 04:45pm):
Oh that one. It was a forest, but the fortifications were incomplete, they were meant to be contacted. Though the Germans did as you said, before the fortifications were completed. |
|
CCCP (11/22/2016 03:56am):
So far I'm thinking GE might have too many bombers. |
