I dare you. "To do what?" you might ask, and rightfully so. I've been fairly vague, so how would you know? Okay, here's the deal: I just want to change things up a bit. Throw people off. Hang on, hear me out for a minute. Don't all just scoff. I dare you to write a poem or a short story Write about homework or dragons and glory. I don't care if it sucks or ends up a bit gory. Point is, this is art and it's whatever you want Just make it your own You won't be alone Can't think of a good rhyme here, so I'll say croissant Add to favorites, write in comments Visit often, enjoy content What can you lose? Bust out your writing shoes. Because I dare you to make something new. I won't make fun of your work, and neither should you. Aren't sure or think it's scary? Think again; I double dared ye. :D |

Rhymes are for lames, This map is hella strange, All of its mountain ranges Are crap and should be scrapped, The plain tiles are nastier than a hairy yak, The ports like look like anchors, what in the hell is that, Tower looks like the infected snout of a mole rat, Overall it's trash, it looks like moldy scat, I bid you adieu and hope your map gets slapped. (That wasn't even vaguely relevant to the map itself, just wanted to diss your 1nf3ri0r rhymes) |

You might think you're cool but you rap like a tool Keep showin' your age boy, I'll take you to school I can spit with the best of 'em, The rest? I won't mess with 'em It's like they can't get undressed but I'm trynna have sex with 'em You never get rollin' 'less you learn how to rock But I *started* from bedrock, took my notes at Hard Knocks Now I'm up at the top, I'm the Glock to your flintlock. Stop. Mic Drop. Edit: Rap definitely isn't my thing. I feel unclean just writing it haha Edit2: Just to be clear, the reference to sex is intended to be consensual- the point is that they're trying to participate and failing to fulfill the prerequisite. I don't like over explaining it because, like a joke, it loses its impact, but I just wanted to make that clear because the phrasing could potentially be interpreted in a way that doesn't reflect my morals or intent. |

Sunlight A waking of the Earth The night was long But cold has gone Conceding to rebirth A tremble Soil slowly brushed aside Dew glistens and gleams On the sprout young and green Peering out, greeting sky Embarking now Small and fragile at first The sprout's confidence rises In this world of surprises It forges ahead with insatiable thirst Growing, stretching ever higher Aiming for the warm, rich sun Reaching, grasping for the fire Looking forward, pressing on Sprout to stalk then stalk to flower With greenest leaves of solar power Ever craving, striving ahead Imagining worlds beyond the flowerbed At last the dreaming meets fruition A full blossom of magnificent gold A product of warmth and intuition Then SNAP like a thunderclap Unexpectedly returns the cold Petals shrivel Falling one by one Leaves whither Pleading for the sun Her roots go deep Clinging desperately to ground But what life is there to keep When gold has turned a wilted brown? Sunlight A waking of the Earth April's frost has gone But the damage is done The flower's heart was hurt A tremble Soil slowly brushed aside Dew glistens and gleams On a sprout young and green Peering out, greeting sky A small seed carried by the storm Pokes up its fragile head Brown flower's golden heart glowed warm Her seed escaped the flowerbed |
