More efforts are needed to eliminate the cross-battlefield influene of indirects.
Also the game seems to be unwinnable since we can't capture the HQ.

Everything influences everything. It's up to you to value what you need to defend or attack to gain the
best advantage. Can you find a specific example of where the potential cross-battlefield influence of
indirects clearly favors one team where the other team doesn't have the same advantage elsewhere?
The uncappable HQs means you must win by eliminating the opponents units or with their resignation.
