Here's the first (and easiest) puzzle that involves CO POWERS. Puzzle: Destroy all Black Hole land units in one turn. COs: YC: Sensei, Super Co Power avaliavle. BH: None Bonus: Don't get attacked by the Black Hole cruiser on Black Hole's turn. |

Solution: Numbering the copters from left to right: 1, 2, 3. Copter 1 hits and kills the nearest infantry from the road in front of it Copter 2 hits and kills the mech from the road in front of it Copter 3 goes all the way back and hits the infantry on the city Infantry from the north finishes off the crippled infantry on the city Activate Sensei's SCOP One 9HP mech attacks the AA (almost guaranteed OHKO... 99% without luck) Other 9HP mech attacks the last remaining infantry, on the shoal (also 99%) This is dependent on the not 100% certain KOs, but it's nearly perfect and doesn't leave any units exposed to the cruiser. |

Yup. And about that, I wonder at what percentage an unit would get destroyed in an attack. (Like if 95% or above would kill the unit.) |

On AWBW at least, 99% won't kill a unit with no luck. Basically, do do a certain amount of health points in damage, the percentage has to exceed that number. So to do 7 damage, you have to do a minimum of 70%... 69% will only deal 6 damage. However, it keeps track of how much actual damage was done, so if you do 69% with one attack and 21% with the next, it will result in the defending unit having 1HP left. In other words: The system keeps track of damage down to a single percentage point, but the unit HP is display will not decrease except when full 10% increments are surpassed (aka not rounded). 7 HP means "Somewhere between 60 and 70% health" from our perspective, even though AWBW knows it's exactly 64%, for example. Now, all that said, this doesn't account for luck. Ignoring the luck COs (Nell, Flak, Jugger, Sonja), you can get up to 10% random luck, with an even distribution from 0-10. Therefore, if you're dealing 99% raw damage then, on average, 9 times out of 10 you'll deal 100% or more with luck and get an OHKO. From a tactical standpoint, uncertain KOs are a nightmare, but this case is as certain as you can get without being completely sure. |
