A few things, the lack of mountains is astonishing, and it is best not to have properties in the center. So FTA doesn't happen, OS will, if done properly take the middle airport. As for the FTA counter, I believe GE should have an infantry as well. YC also should have their FTA counter on the base within cap range of the neutral base. |

If it is a race for the centre airport, YC will surely be the winner rather than OS. Considering you have other airports, the centre airport is not that game-breaking. Bombers should not be allowed if naval batlles are to be encouraged. I will give a 9. EDIT: GE should be given an inf as he is just like YC and takes his turn after his neighbours. |

Well, center airport or base? Which would a good player choose? Obviously the base. So, once again, OS should take the airport. Also, having two airports compared to one is a big advantage, as long as OS keeps the income to produce. Splitting up the income as evenly as possible comes to 22K, at normal income per property. Pretty decent, producing a bomber per turn, two Bcopters, 3 infantry, with 1K left over, or a fighter and 2 infantry. And with the second airport it's 23K, so some more funds. |

using the yellow infantry to cap a base would be a mistake. An infantry produced from the base on day 2 gets to cap it on the same turn, so the yellow infantry on turn 1 should be used to immediately make progress towards further advanced properties. |

In many maps fta-counter inf starts from weird positions like HQ or somewhere else rather than the base. And mostly it was a harmless design. In many maps instead of having your inf towards the neutral base the fta-counter inf is used to capture nearby properties for income advantage. It is not a bad strategy either. |

Fair point, but you were correct in that the FTA counter infantry by convention should have the same access to the neutral base as a conventionally purchased infantry would. Here it's delayed and that diminishes the effect of the FTA counter (lander/airport shenanigans aside). |

if the map is designed for ffa play the FTA counter should be fixed. For 2vs2 OS+YC vs BM+GE it does not matter. |
