I decided to try my hand at smaller maps (this one is 12x12). With less travel time between bases, and four different roads to the center, there shouldn't be too much stalemating. ...I think. Open to critique on this one. You can't release an artillery from both bases unless you have way too many funds. Rockets will be devastating in this map but you'd need to save up for them. There ARE chokepoints, but you'd need to hold four of them with two bases. |

I think it's still a bit chokey. While there are a number of different paths, they're all very tight which will keep interesting battles from developing. I'd suggest making the side paths more open so players can choose between the open long path or the tight short path. |

I thought of one way to open the side paths up some without screwing up the map's theme. Mainly, I'm thinking some shoals along both sides of each diagonal "blade" on the rotor. This would extend the major chokepoints on the side to 2 spaces. Probably going to add those as soon as the games on the map are done. |

Added some shoals to make the map a little more open. Considering removing the bend next to the "T" river on each side to open things up a bit more. |
