Wat?
ichbinsehselber (04/02/2017 10:23am):
this map seems to be unfinished.
1.) is it supposed to be a team game?
2.) The piperunners can shoot already in turn 1
3.) FTA
4.) neutral cities appear to be missing

First off, I noticed this is your first custom map. Welcome to AWBW!

Now, one big thing about maps here as opposed to AW on the carts is that, because all the players are human
and there's no AI, you want to make things generally balanced for all sides. In this case, OS, BM, GE, and YC
can use their Piperunners to hit BH's Piperunners before they get the chance to move, and this will eventually
result in their destruction. This means BH will have absolutely no piperunners, while being surrounded by
enemies on all sides.

RF, CI, PC, and TG all have three enemies on their sides and move after most of them, while OS, BM, GE and
YC have a much easier time defending their territory due to having only two enemies near them and moving
before all of said enemies.

Xmo5 (who's better at this than I am) made a guide at this link:
http://www.takeyourturn.net/t877-map-making-guide-i-introduction-to-awbw-map-design
That guide should help you make a really good map. Though it's focused on 1v1, there are principles in there
that'll help in larger games. In general, for maps with many players, you want to give each side an equal amount
of fronts, or at least make a good reason for a player to choose each side over the others (like with the amazing
European Diplomats map).

I had some things to say, but yeah, I guess that about covers it. :)

dude if it's BH versus all then it's an 8v1 with each side having the same amount
of units and the allies with 8* funds lol
