After looking over critique, I've decided to introduce the new map: Jetstream! Get it? Because there's a stream? And
airports? ...I won't quit my day job. This map, evenly split, has 12000 to a side, because artillery spam isn't as threatening
when you have choppers, and 12000 isn't enough for an Artillery AND an Anti-Air.

I tried to start the HQ farther from the bases (like in Burger, but more so) and have a nice wide-open map apart from the huge
stream in the center. Even there, I placed a lot of bridges so troops can get to the other side easier. My acute Reconophobia
rears its head again, manifesting in more and more forests. Even so, the roads make me worry. Wonder if I should cut down
on them or not?

The other thing I'm worried about is Bombers. While expensive, a Bomber could be dangerous on this map, especially if it
uses the river to its advantage. Still, AAs will be fielded anyway to deal with B-Copters, so fielding a few more (or maybe a
Missile? Do they ever see use outside Fog?) won't be as hard.

I wouldn't worry about bombers. You'll probably only see them in the late game (once
someone has effectively won) or in desperation. They really wouldn't be that good of a
strategy in most cases. Also, recon rush isn't much of a threat in a plains heavy
environment, so you don't have to compensate with forests if you don't want to.

I think you could probably stand to make the HQs slightly more vulnerable (maybe switch it
with the city just ahead of it), and also to add some terrain variety on the right and
left lanes. The battle will probably take place near those three mountains against the
edge and across those bridges, so it might be worth changing the mountains a bit to force
some decisions or present obstacles. I like the idea of placing a mountain to the left of
the city that's 7 spaces north of OS's right city (or maybe one space further up) and then
removing the current row of 3 mountains. I'd sprinkle another couple like that through the
length of each side. You're a bit limited because of the narrow map, but you can create
some splits so that there's a 1 space wide chokepoint to one side and a 2-wide on the
other. Just be careful to make sure that the terrain doesn't make it too easy to defend
either chokepoint.
