7 December ,1941

Black Hole begin there attack on Pearl Harbor and invades the Philippines ,WW2 in the
Pacific has Begun.

Black Hole (Japan) Team B
Yellow Comet (China) Team A
Blue Moon (Russia) Team A
Red Fire (England) Team A
Orange Star (America) Team A

Rule 1 :OS may not do anything at there first turn otherwise the attack on Pearl Harbor
will fail completely for BH

It maybe not balance yet because I’m still testing it..!

Paper324 (01/02/2006 10:04am | Edited: 01/02/2006 10:20am):
Okay.

It's a great, historically correct map, EXCEPT that all the non-BH forces have way too
little resources.
It takes BM over 10 turns just to get around 7000G a turn.
YC is in a better financial state, but its factories are too far away from the properties
of SE Asia. On top of that, BH will crush the 3 infantry in the heartland, thereby taking
the SE Asian properties.
The Filipino army (forget the army name) will easily repel the invasion, but will struggle
to gain properties.
OS is safe, except for Pearl Harbor. It WILL be taken because the expensive units neat the
seaport. That puts BH within striking distance of OS. Simply put: A BShip, Cruiser, 2
Bombers, and a Fighter > A BShip, Fighter, and Cruiser.

I see potential. 7/10

Thanks for your Comments Paper,
The reason why Blue Moon don’t have much yet is because there where only late involved in
the war at Japan, and if I make them much stronger at the beginning than the Black Hole
have no chance for a victory I think..
And why YC have there factories behind is because I didn’t want to make them too strong.
Youre right about the Philippines and Pearl Harbor.

I will chance the map a bid right away

Edit

I chance the map a bid ,do you think its better now Paper?

Paper324 (01/02/2006 11:50am):
Perfect! I love it. Probably because I'm a dirty history buff...
The way I see this map is that BH's initial wave is repelled, but some might not survive
the second wave... Interesting.

IMPORTANT: Don't put shoals in front of seaports. Only landers can cross shoals. Other
boats will be sitting ducks.

10/10

Lol ,Glad you like it so far

and Thnx for the tip

DrainDemios (01/02/2006 09:38pm):
OS should probably be Japan, seeing as how they were they initiated the attack on Pearl
Harbor. The way it is now, OS can wipe out BH's bombers on its first turn. Then BM be
America, and so on. It should be set up so OS loses Pearl Harbor within the first few turns
to be the most historically accurate.
Evil Basler (01/03/2006 04:09am | Edited: 01/03/2006 04:16am):
Ow yeah youre right I forgot that OS starts always first..
Than there most be a rule that OS may not do anything in there first turn..
Cause if I make OS as Japan..It will look weird I think..

TheMantis (01/24/2006 07:23pm):
Then, perhaps, make America Grey Sky or something post-BH in move order. That way you can
keep Japan as BH without ruining the Pearl Harbor attack.
Evil Basler (01/25/2006 08:08am):
yes good idea thnx
GameMusic (02/27/2006 11:22am):
Shouldn't Japan be YC and China be AB? Japan has a big disadvantage, I think. Extra
cruisers, and fighters, and a battleship around Japan would make sense, and would give
Japan more overall power without making them overpowered in the early game, since those
units can't attack most of the enemy units early. To keep Japan from blockading the US
and Russia, maybe the US could have a battleship and rockets on the mainland, and Russia's
harbor could be further away from Japan.

I would suggest putting the Philipines under US control seeing how they were the colonial
power there and had troops there. Another addidtion could be to have British infantry units
placed near Singapore, Hong Kong, and Rangoon. These were their key colonial areas and
had garrisons their. This would show the picture good because they couldn't provide new
armies quickly. China actually would have their factories far away because they had a
policy of gradually retreating and you can't destroy buildings in this game. Japan definately
should have more naval units at the beginning. Perhaps give them a sub or two along with
another few cruisers to act as aircraft carriers. My last suggestion would be to make the
sea near the bottam right more dense in shoal to show the coral reefs.

Where's Midway? Wake Island? Iwo Jima?
