Some aspects of this map are good like the symmetry. For a really good map here are some improvement suggestions: 1.) When the bases are on one edge of a relatively large map, the units need to walk for a while to reach their destination. This can be boring. On this map many properties are preowned. So the choices in the capture phase are gone. 2.) You have put 5 bases and 3 airports on each side all of the bases and airports are pretty close together. This leads to fewer choices. Also you can expect just one big front in the center. If you place the bases on various places a bit closer to the center (in terms of right left) and move one of the bases up and one other base down, the development of the fronts would be more interesting. Also perhaps some of the tedious clicking making the units move towards the front falls away. |
