Mori Mapmaking Methodâ„¢. 1. Close your eyes. 2. Put down mountains randomly. 3. Fill in the rest of the space. 4. Edit a lot. 5. ???? 6. PROFIT Or at least, that's how I remember it. =) |

So do you only fill the mountains on half of the map and then mirror? Or do you fill all over and then pick the keepers and make it symmetric? |

You only mirror it intermittently. Like you just starting working on a corner of the map, then randomly start working in the middle, then mirror some parts of it but definitely not in any coordinated way. Then add more random terrain and edits. |

I'm definitely noticing a design flaw here. Lost in San Francisco should involve a lot more homeless people, so you need to either place a lot of predeployed infantry belonging to a country with nothing but an HQ, or you need to make this a lot less base light. If there are not more infantry than there are places to live, you're doing it wrong. Either that or drop the number of cities substantially instead, so that you get the same effect, but also capture the high cost of living component. |

Large enough for a handful of fronts, open enough to allow for fairly dynamic positioning (without being too open and seeing it all just blend together most of the time). Being base light helps accentuate this. 2 labs per player would probably do more for this map than the 1 forward HQ, but its placement works well for what it is. 9/10, I like it more each time I play on it. |
