This map is based off of the GBA game Golden Sun. I tried to make this map accurate, balanced, and fun. I had to sacrifice some accuracy to GS by having there be a path through the western mountains, and both sides having ports. That accuracy was done in favor of balancing the teams and making the map more fun, and I really think that I've created a great map. The names of the properties, from left-right, top-down goes: -Mercury Lighthouse/Imil -Mercury Lighthouse/Imil -Mercury Lighthouse/Imil -Kolima Forest -Sol Sanctum -Lunpa -Bilibin -Kolima Village -Vale -Altin -Fuchin Temple -Vault -Lama Temple -Xian -Kalay Docks -Kalay -Tolbi -Tolbi Docks -Suhalla -Babi Lighthouse/Lalivero -Babi Lighthouse/Lalivero -Venus Lighthouse |

Sorry, I'm new at this thing. Do you think you could give many advice on how to fix it? I really want to make it a good map. Thanks! Also, about the accuracy of the map to the Golden Sun series, I did base it off of the map of the game that the GS1 cartridge has on it, which isn't canon, so you're comment about accuracy is probably realting to that. In the original GS1 map, Hesperia is to close to Gondowan, Loho isn't on the map, Southern Gondowan is an endless forest, and Crossbone Isle is in the Western Sea. However, I chose to base it off of the non-canon map of GS1 for a couple of reasons. The main one is that the canon map from GS2 has the northern continent go on too far, which would have made it so that blue wouldn't be able to move a b ship down the southern coast to counter a potential yellow b ship. |

Also, I designed this map in Advance Wars 2, so I have no idea what sorts of things in Dual Strike might have unbalanced my map. |

Shoot man. I just got Dual Strike and tested this map against the DS AI. I knew the DS AI was better than the AW2 AI, but it showed me just how unbalanced it is towards the blue team. I'm working on fixing the map right now. With the DS AI to help me balance the map, I hope I can make it better. |

I think that other guy was wrong. I just played a game as blue moon against lash and it felt very balanced. Don't know about accuracy, but there seemed to be play and counter play. Yellow comet gets their base faster but blue moon can cover a bunch of cities from the other side of the mountain. More games would have to be played to determine if blue moon is in fact overpowered. I suppose I'll have to play as yellow comet and see. |
