I think the land routes are all a bit narrow. It's okay to have one of the routes be
chokey, but you should balance it out with some more open areas so that the whole battle
doesn't stalemate. I also highly recommend starting with 2 preowned bases per player and
an infantry on one of BM's bases, rather than trying to counter FTA for a single base.
