There's plenty incentive to open up the pipe seams, with 4 cities, a comm tower, and a
missile silo waiting, though you also need to destroy your opponent's artillery to get it.
I like the idea of a buried vault full of goodies that can help you in the fight. COs that
can break pipe seams in two artillery hits like Grimm can access it much faster, leading
to you being able to break stalemates more easily, especially with the missile silo.
The terrain looks rather light, and there isn't much to help indirects outside of a black
boat meatshield and rivers to help protect your HQ. At the same time, this map is base
light, so you won't see as much infantry spam. I feel like maybe a city or two could be
moved into the beach to incentivize you to try and hold it, though much of the fighting
looks like it will take place there anyway.

EDIT: after testing this map, control of the beaches meant very little. Controlling the
centre, however, is very important because of how vulnerable the HQs are. I like how this
map unfolds, and recons actually are viable for once. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I like to include backstory for my maps, but looks like I forgot it here.

Aging infrastructure has left InfiniteHydro, Inc. and the Aquatic Solutions Company with a tiny problem. The
executive boards of the competing companies developed short-sighted financial plans to cut costs, but have
now left each company's production capabilities in chaos. Fortunately, clean up crews have been quickly
deployed to contain the damage. However, instead of aiding one another, each side sees the opportunity to
finally drown the competition for good...

This map seems like it could be a lot better with some edits. There should be more terrain variety, especially around where
the shoals are, and as Meta Rexy said, there should be a few properties in the middle of the shoals.
The pipes look nice, though I'm worried about the Silos.

You should move properties more towards the center and not have as many cities on the corners of the map since only 1
player will realistically get there. Maybe you could also include some bases closer to the HQ.

There's also a lack of airports or ports, which could be bad. But I'd like to see how this plays.
