Good but not great. |

I think this should be an interesting map with quite a lot of options. |

Contrary to previously expressed opinion, this map is actually great. The abundance of contested cities creates a natural tension all across the board, which promises a lot of dynamism throughout the game. S-rank. |

Should have been CI vs YC, so that it'd match the colors of the Michigan Wolverines. Brilliant map all-around! |

This sounds dirty! |

I played this map in the leage a few times and I can remember two interesting matchups. there is no telling on how the exact area with the port will look like. That allows some diversity and gives challenge players to read the situation as good as they can. It might be interesting to see what would happen if the 2 forrest tiles were transformed into cities for an even more contested front line Anyway it is a good map as it is. 9/10 |

This map is in the Hall of Fame as one of the most influential standard competitive maps of its era (approx. 2017 - 2021). |

I've been very impressed by the gameplay of this map, taking both losses and wins on it |

The lander is a bit of a trap. If you send inf early to the comm tower chokepoint they're kinda destined to die. I recommend slowly pushing that comm tower instead. Too early you'll get overwhelmed by the airport and 2 bases all at once. Overall it's a pretty good map. My main complaint is the hq is extremely safe but there's plenty of other win conditions to make up for it |

Good map, however a early arty that can hit the comm tower and harbor is overly good. I makes fighting for those properties nigh impossible even with 2 tanks and inf against a arty and inf wall. You lose your side bfr you can even finish killing the arty/inf wall. Good tension over contested properties otherwise, just it's too easy to park a arty on shoal and be fine for 4-7 days with minimal defenses. |

I would prefer the com tower was not in immediate range of a tank on either side. To me a com tower should be something the other layer has to make some real effort to interrupt and take. Still possible but requires some force.Essentiallyif you get your oppenent's com tower you will just roll over them eventually. |

1 rating I lost to a player with a less of 200 rating, and when it comes to exchanging disputed cities, this map is a complete waste of time. The superior side needs artillery to destroy the Landing craft occupying the port |

Meta Rexy (01/29/2024 10:20am):
The comm tower placement and division between fronts is what makes this map unique. Remove it and you're left with a generic map. The trick is that the comm tower within enemy tank range is actually within the enemy zone of control. However, the lander should enable you to send infantry to capture the port, and defend it with copters and the lander itself until you either get your own artillery to defend it, or push center with units from your strong side and overwhelm any artillery sitting on the shoal by the tower. Despite the usefulness of artillery here, Max is excellent at wall breaking and threatening these defensive positions with his superior copters, tanks, and AA. |

The airport is within 2 tank movement days |
