At the end of this, we're going to need a before/after shot. I'm liking the terrain you've been filling in on the
last few versions.

There has certainly been a major improvement to the aesthetics.

I don't really like the idea of having so many cities around the outside of the map. It's
good to have some backward cities, but you don't want there to be too many or the impact
of losing ground and the contested cities there is less significant. You just have to push
your opponent so far to make a meaningful dent in their income and the closer you get to
their bases, the easier it is for them to push back against you; this can result in
battles dragging on longer than they otherwise should.

@xmos5 I think you are right that there are too many outer-most cities. My original idea with the outer
cities was to help the player who defend the rush, but I've realized after so many versions that rushing is
not as strong as I thought it would be.

thanks for the feedback

@walkerboh01

I've actually reduced the size of the map in this version too! It used to take six turns to begin capture
on the bottom base, but now it's only 5 because I cut down the # of tiles on the Y axis by 2. I believe it used
to be
25x25 and now it's 25x23. I'm hoping this will decompress what used to be a top-lane
heavy early game.

I produce youtube videos discussing my map and the next one will include replays. I plan on moving to
a new map soon, and when I do that I plan on making a before/after time lapse of ER
