Bedmaker (05/12/2021 04:33am):
this is the crappist map i've ever seen, SERIOUSLY |
|
doloyi (06/26/2021 08:57am):
Let's get this straight, the second player gets an extra unit AND a property at the start? Really? Why does it appear in competitive games? I got this shit on HF as the first player and it was over before it even started, remove this from competitive pool. Also, even without it it's a dumb map, there's nothing to play around. The entire thing is just run at each other and don't bother trying to flank, since it's just a wide straight line. |

Dredge (07/20/2021 02:24pm):
be better at the game ig, the fta counter here is correct for high funds. |
|
AA01blue (08/20/2021 12:17am):
Very weird map, but it's in league for a reason. I like how naval units get play despite the small amount of sea. |

Sex_Pistols_Requiem (08/23/2021 08:56pm):
Complete joke of a map, just leads to a massive stalemate where nothing gets done. Had a RANKED High Funds match that was a Sensei mirror match and it was the sloggiest I've ever seen AWBW |

JimmyDymo (08/26/2021 12:00pm | Edited: 08/26/2021 12:01pm):
I thought this would be a stalemate map, but the port makes it all clear. on high funds, you can deploy landers which open up the map a lot. They should get rid of P2's starting city though, that component is bad design, because it forces P1 in a fixed direction during the early capture phase. |

Khrit (10/08/2021 07:14pm):
It looks awful, it should be, BUT it´s pretty fun actually, naval units have actual use, aside for the usual lander, wich are crucial in this map |

jjwhitty (11/09/2021 03:09pm):
having 2 bases trapped by rivers means it just becomes an infantry spam... which I don't find enjoyable... |
|
walkerboh01 (11/11/2021 02:47am):
@jjwhitty: You should consider building a lander. |
|
Nemo86 (01/16/2022 05:31pm):
The two bases blocked by a river makes sami a good choice here, It's hard not to just infantry spam here. |
|
COMMANDERWOLF (07/06/2023 07:29pm):
Map need needs a Com Tower and rank Javier in highier ranks. |
|
Meta Rexy (07/09/2023 03:45pm):
This map is fun. Despite being fairly small, the terrain makes it hard for strong side vehicles to exert control over the map until you build landers (build 2 if you want consistent control over the landing zones). There's also incentive to build carriers and battleships, despite the sea being so narrow, because the zone controlled by those ships is so important. Finally, the weak terrain on land with forward positioned HQs ensures fights will be fast and furious. I like it. :) |

Ahahsoboo (07/23/2023 04:16pm):
Oh boy, another map where 2/3 of the bases force you to spend 3 turns leaving the base or buy infantry. How creative! “ let’s have 1 base blocked by a river, and the next blocked by mountains, and then all alone in the far end one base where you can actually deploy vehicles” |
|
haite (08/05/2023 01:02am):
I think this is the first map I rate down. I understand that is supposed to have some hidden mechanics, but oh boy, it feels bad. Subs completely block landers, which means that the two factories on the side get massively slow down. I understand for casual match, but for standard, I don't think it fits. |
|
Skeletonin (08/17/2023 12:19am):
oh boy bridges that lead directly into mountains? id rather play another flat plain map with no choke points than this |
|
Meta Rexy (09/12/2023 03:08pm):
I think Haite brings up a good point. Subs have no counter play on this map. Unfortunately, shoal locking the sea at both ends also increases the risk of stalemates. Perhaps widening the sea by a tile? |
|
Cannonfodder449 (10/02/2023 02:13pm):
This is a VOA map?! 1 star |
|
likegel (10/27/2023 01:10am):
1 rating I think I know why there are no T1 level competitions anymore. Eagle and Sensei can completely turn this map into HQ Cheece |
|
Scurge (12/20/2023 02:06pm):
Disclaimer of my game on this map is currently only a few turns in, but, looking at it, I agree with Meta Rexy in the idea of widening the sides by a tile each - or perhaps insetting the shores - so that cruisers can get at submarines. Otherwise looks good; love how naval play is encouraged here, and I understand even without a lander this kind of map setup forces long supply/reinforcement lines which helps avoid stalemates :-) Despite that I'd prefer if both the 'strong side' bases were in one turn's movement( for 5- and 6-move, treads vehicles) of the port instead of only one of them. |

I'm happy we have different types of maps |

HACHI22 (01/19/2024 10:46pm):
Why is this map rated A RANK THIS MAP SHOULD BE RATED C RANK NOT A RANK THIS MAP IS BAD |
|
Schokosnuss (01/28/2024 11:06am):
it sure is "different", but it definitely doesn't belong in A-rank |
|
Rutherford Gaming (08/16/2024 10:43pm | Edited: 08/20/2024 11:01am):
Miserable stally map that devolves into Mega Tank and Rocket spam. 2/10 and I agree it should be demoted to C or at least B rank. Maybe removing the 2-base port could fix the issue. |
|
Rock Golem (08/19/2024 10:30pm):
You guys stall on this map? |
