I really don't think having that many towers is a good idea.
Shadow Star (08/19/2018 02:12pm):
I'm going to tell you now that this is going to come across as negative. But it looks to be mostly just the issues
of being a new mapmaker.

1. starting property, OS has 25 to BM's 24. while both OS and BM come with three bases, their positioning
makes it a lot harder for BM to protect their HQ compared to OS.

2. CHokepoints. everything that isn't an air unit is going to have trouble moving around on this map.

3. Com towers. OS has 6, BM has 5, that's a huge difference. you're really stacking the game against BM.

4. with the high amount of starting property, and the lack of neutral property, players will start dropping big units
right away, which is going to make the chokepoints worse for land units, and air units are going to have a hard
time when it's going to be heavily fighters and battlecopters.

5. Sea units, normally I would say that sea units are a bit of a waste of time and money. In this case, sea units
can't pass through bridges, so there are a lot of places where sea units just won't do anything. And there's no
real reason to build sea units as there aren't a lot of places where they will be useful.

6. With the aforementioned problems, the land battle really lacks any direction, there's a lot of things, but not a
lot of beneficial places for land units to do anything.

7. FTA, so, in addition to the starting property, and the positioning, there just isn't any reason to play as BM. if
you were to counter that by building an FTA counter (roughly half the building potential of OS's first turn) with
such high starting funds it's going to be nearly impossible to handle that in an accurate and balanced manner.

So, I'm not going to say this is a good map, At the moment I'm not even going to say that the map has some
easy improvements to make it good. It's rife with things that either detract from gameplay, or detract from
balance. Balance being kind of an important thing to minimize as much as possible.
