It would be nice to add a bridge or two over the river. Perhaps remove the mountain 2W of the southern TG base, and put a vertical bridge 2W 1N of it? That will help create multiple fronts so that units aren't only coming from one direction. A couple other minor tips: - It's not a good idea to put both towers so close to each other. Contested towers are okay, but it's not good when one player can easily take both. That's a strong advantage. - It's better to put the HQ in a slightly more exposed position, maybe somewhere near where the bboat is. That helps games end in a reasonable time frame in situations where one player refuses to resign (preventing stalling). In general you'll want your maps to be just a little bit larger to really facilitate top-level gameplay. But with a couple improvements, this can be a nice map for its size. Major improvement over your first map already! |

Thanks for the tips! I've made some improvements, mainly the addition of bridges and the moving of the HQs. You'll also notice that the Comm Towers are now mountains, which I think looks really nice with the shoals. I've also decided to post a song from the soundtrack of the game that inspired this map.
