Solid map. Has some nice things going on and lets both players play what they want to play, very wyj esque in that regard but also has some gimmicks. |

Map has exploit, player 1 can rush HQ in 6 turns. Player 2 needs to beeline straight for their own HQ to defend. If player 1 picks Sami, the +50% cap makes P2's HQ almost undefendable. |

If P1 picks Sami, P2 needs to build skip for a day 2 Recon, and get it on the HQ by turn 4. Because otherwise they're at risk of instantly losing. If P2 doesn't get the recon on the HQ on turn 4, P1's infantry can use the black boat to zoom out and start capping the HQ on turn 5. And a single recon can't do enough damage to knock Sami's infantry down to 3hp to interrupt the second cap on day 6. Alright map otherwise, but something really should be changed to fix it. |

P2 can clog the shoal line in front of their HQ if they send their BB that way first turn. For map design change, making the hq 1 space further from the shoal line would increase the rush distance by 1 turn, changing the port on the outer edge to a city would also increase it by 1 turn (for non Sami COs). Placing the black boat further away by 3 tiles would also have somewhat the same effect. These changes would likely make the rush not viable, and something to be clearly aware of if they choose Sami and read these comments. |

Well, thankfully Starflash25 fixed it with his own v2 version of the map, he just added a BBoat on top of the HQs lol. |
