The ports closest to each players HQ serve no purpose, other than that, a fun and dynamic map with the comm towers
encouraging multiple fronts but being fairly easy to defend. 10/10

I agree that getting units out of your base is slow, but it makes planning your unit choices much more worthwhile, which I liked.

The center is really boring. There is so much road and flat space around the key contested areas that unit placement barely matters. Everything is road or plains and all vehicles can move super far. Even the bridges are double, defensive or infantry COs are really quite weak on this map. Evenly spaced forests at 3-4 tiles apart make it super easy to determine where the indirects are as well.

But really, this map is pretty shit, and a site admin shouldn't be putting maps this bad in league pools, ESPECIALLY their own.

I wonder if the pipe seams are worth breaking here. The one beside your base of course is nice
because you can get vehicles from your 2b side onto Landers for your 1b side, but I don't see a
compelling reason to break the other seam at the other end of the pipe. It's not like that space
lets your units unload any closer to the fronts...

True..that second seam would be useful to break if at least two of the other three tiles of pipe were also seams; it'd take a looong time to break all those but would allow not just much faster access to the centre but also doing so without use of the landers - which might defeat their purpose a bit - and the 3rd base to much more easily support the starting two! The shore there could then be used to ferry units built there - and also from one of the other bases if all the pipe were seams that got broken - directly to the HQ =D

I disagree with making them all seams. That sounds like a noob trap. Players who waste that
much time opening up the seams or diverting two artillery will suffer on the main fronts for it.

I can see how it could be fun as a gimmick map, but I can't say I liked playing on it in the GL the last time I got it, and this time probably won't be an exception.
