Small qol change would be to make player one spawn at the top of the map, so the order of the portraits from top to bottom would be the same as their army |

In this map, the double bases are too close to the enemy HQ, only 12 grids away. A black ship should be added. Sami is too easy to use SCOP to occupy HQ. After watching a match, Sami mirror occupied HQ in only 14 days, and even there were neutral cities on the map that were not occupied. |

retarded map. Guys stop making HQ rush or any rush in the first place, it's out of place in a STRATEGY game. An airport rush to win..? It's a 1/10 for me. |

HQ capping is a mechanic of the game and it requires thought and planning, so it's not out of place at all. So giving a map 1/10 just because the HQ can be capped is pretty unfair I think. |

Also gave the map a 1/10 for the same reason as Le lieu tenant (among other reasons) and I don't think it is unfair in the slightest. The point of the HQ cap mechanic on cartridge was to provide a win condition for maps where it was impossible to militarily defeat the opponent. By design, I should say. On AWBW, especially in GL and tourney, we don't design maps like that. So why would it be fun to lose when you aren't militarily defeated? If anything, the HQ cap mechanic on AWBW should really serve the function that the capture limit is serving. I.E. to end a game that you've already won but the opponent won't resign. |

If you got caught so out of position that your opponent is able to capture your capital without a major battle then you were in fact militarily defeated, in any IRL or video game sense of the word. |

I have to disagree with everyone who's complaining about HQ/Airport rush, I think rush maps make for very exciting play. You have to balance having a successful attack and just enough of a defense to win before you lose. And since both players have the same rush opportunities, it's a perfectly valid test of which player can have the most efficient attack while still protecting a vulnerable HQ. In the case of a base/airport rush, it's still fair as theoretically players will trade those properties assuming they are of equal skill, which is really cool since it creates distinct phases of the game as ownership of different bases or airports change. (And if they don't equally trade those properties, then clearly one player is more skilled and should win because of it) The main benefit of a rush map is that they tend to heavily punish stalling, which makes the game a lot more interesting and frankly fun. Saying that an HQ rush doesn't require strategy is like saying Chess doesn't require strategy because you can checkmate the king instead of taking all of your opponent's pieces. |

I rate it because it in global league and have played it many times. Dislike: (main reason) It is global league and out of the 242 tiles and I disagree with a lot. If I disagree with 10 tiles that makes 20 changes because of mirroring. Global League is suppose to be a well built map. If you agree with all the properties tiles which are positioned on the map then your 90% or more ok with the map the way it is. Airports should be consider as a base and it is not well position and well timed to help out the fta. If you don't build 1 helicopter, you do end up not being able to use that airport because it would be blocked and the weak side can't defend it all. A quick patch fix would switch places of the corner city and the air port with that. The airport would be in a better spot then now. HQ building should be where the command towers are. The mountains blocks access to vehicles It would be better to use woods to slow down vehicles from helicopters. It limits which tiles can be used for defenders around the HQ or city. |
