***GAME RULES*** ________________ The idea is that 3 players (The Allies) fight against 1 (The Axis), wherein Tags are enabled; but once the game starts, the Allies must discuss amongst themselves and chose only one of their two COs to use. The Ally players each publically announce which CO they are going to stick to, and for the rest of the game they won't switch from them. The Axis player on the other hand can freely switch between his two Tag COs as he wishes. This gives the Axis player many creative combinations to choose from, but generally, the Allies are still going to be more powerful due to their 3 seperate CO bars and abilities. ----- Property income should be set to 500$ Starting funds should be a good chunk, let's say 150.000$ until further playtest. This gives every player a pseudo-Pre-deployed army to work with and makes reinforcements harder to call in, giving every strategic decision and every unit much more valuable and importance rather than turning the game into a Spam-fest. After all, why care about losing a cruiser if you get 40k or something ridiculous like that every turn? At first glance, this gives the Allies another advantage: They start with 3 times the funds than the Axis player. But that's really not much to worry about as the Axis has plenty of pre-deployeds to work with, starts with more cities owned and can spend their money more flexibly, which should be an advantage later. ----- Reminder that you can use Blackboats to heal your Piperunners, and that you're also gonna need them to refuel Submarines! BANNED COs: - Sasha: +100$ funds breaks the game essentially giving her +20% more money (colin), and her CO power is the anti-fun. - Drake: A maybe-ban because his power is basically just a "Kill all subs"-button. I say Damage COs are fine, as long as neither side has more than 1. That's something to be sorted out in the first turn whilst the Allies discuss their CO pick. |

This map cannot be set to $500, otherwise it is a long, tedious slog. |

Schreck seems to be onto something here. I'm not gonna do much change with this map though, it went completely out of my mind and now I don't feel motivated working on it. I do like the concept, though. |
