Well, this map is mostly an experiment ATM. I just wanted to make a pre-deployed kind of map where one player, the attacker, gets a huge army, while the defender has to build up his forces while delaying the attacker as much as he can. I give the attacker some cities they can capture, in which they can resupply and reinforce their units, as well as the first turn. They also have one base in which to build anything they want, but they have a very limited income early game. The defender on the other hand starts with very limited stating forces, meant mostly for scouting and preparing early ambushes, shall the attacker rush carelessly. Still they have a lot of bases and a very good income. Some of their bases are inaccessible for vehicles, but if the attacker captures them, they can use them to produce extra foot troops. I wouldn't wonder if there needs to be some more changes for rebalancing, so I'm open for any feedback. Edit: Obviously, this map would work better in FoW. Edit 2: Changed all Acid Rain's cities into neutral cities, that way, it has a more limited income at the start of the game, to avoid it overwhelming it's opponent with a lot of tanks. Edit 3: Removed some of the forest. Acid Rain is still capable of making ambushes, but this way I think it looks slightly better, and there will be more use for LoS. I also added some labs for Red Fire with a Black boat so they can repair their air units, as well as I added some T copters with some infantry nearby. Edit 4: Changed some of AR bases to neutral to avoid infantry to block RF advance. In exchange, some of the cities near RF have been made to belong to AR for the extra income. |
