Pictures transcend words, and they transcend languages. Upon seeing this, without understanding the works' foreign title, I thought to myself, "Now that is an original picture"! The author seems to agree, for the title matches up with my assessment. Even beyond this, the maps' unusual dimensions and aesthetic decisions line up excellently, creating the illusion of wasted space where there is, in fact, a whole universe waiting to be discovered by those who look deeply enough. This is the work of a true master. I cannot rate this higher than ten out of ten points, but rest assured that I would go up to thirty-five of ten to honor this timeless classic. |
