Manetheran (01/26/2006 12:01pm):
Before Ocarina of Time there was a war in Hyrule. The Gorons, Zoras and Kokiri were all at war with each other and Hyrule itself. Ganondorf jumped in on the action and the Gerudos joined, and are now trying to take over hyrule to. Even the fishing guy from lake Hylia has deployed an army to protect his business and so has Lon Lon Ranch. |

Chaos-Creator (01/26/2006 01:11pm):
more woods,reefs, etc. |
|
Kiyobi (01/26/2006 01:33pm):
The plains are too sparse. Now, I've never played OoT before *dodges fork thrown by fanboy* but this looks like an interesting map. Add some more wood and maybe toss in a road or two. 7/10 |

randomizer (01/26/2006 04:08pm):
The properties are too sparse. Also, Brown lacks a neutral base, even to fight over. 6/10 |

IndirectDragon (01/26/2006 05:20pm):
*Throws another fork* You should cut the mountains down just a tad a throw a few cities between them, the mountains that is. |

7. I remember the game, you put the map right. Yet The teal base (whatever they are called) At the right has no port to attack them with. You could easiyl send a lander out at the very corner and keep it there. Then no one could kill you. Also, too sparce in some areas, too much in others. It doesn't hjave to be completely like Hyrule. And there were no silos in Hyrule either :) |

Well, being an OoT fanboy (and Zelda in general), I give it a 6/10. -1 for all the mountains -1 its too big, hyrule is much smaller, that would solver the mountain problem -1 Gerudos are in the wrong place -1 There isn't a stream around Hyrule Feild, and you also forgot Gerudo river. Yes, some innacuracs, this is to come, but his is a tad too many. Nice try, maybe knock it down 10 spaces and it might be better. |

Can cross over by the shoal on the top bank of the river can't you? |

daytonausafan (02/01/2006 07:04pm):
Sounds like a great idea for a map is the layout is revamped a little . . . |
|
Manetheran (02/02/2006 04:15pm):
"there wasn't a stream around Hyrule" Yes there was. Remember the river comes out of Zoras Domain, branches out to the left and right, to the right a pond where you play the song of storms to get a big fairy and to the right the river goes due North until it hits hyrule town markets wall, goes into a grate, pops out just a few meters along the wall as the moat, which then runs into another grate at the end of the moat, which then goes into the mountains and presumably turns into the gerudo river, and flows into lake hylia (if you jump into the gerudo river you get to lake Hylia) |

I like this map. Not basing it on Zelda or any of those games but this would actually make a good free for all battle. If there were more sea and less mountains it would be perfect. The order of greatness I think for each starting player is: 1: GE 2: OS 3: BD 4: JS 5: BH 6: BM 7: YC You don't see too many 7 player maps around here. So it is still good. I give it a 8/10 for being such a strategic map. |

I'm gonna make a map based on Zelda 2: A.O.L. (hey, good paraody lol) |
|
smahlt (03/20/2006 08:22pm):
Do you remember in the game that there was a secret passage between the forest and the river? Maybe you could make a little forest path through the mountains. Keep the fighting more interesting, maybe. |
