My first attempt at a 1v1 map. I was trying to be relatively all inclusive to the various unit types here for some larger scale clashes over multiple fronts, but with all this in mind I'm afraid I made it to turtlely so contructive criticism would be appreciated. |

maybe. I've learnt that its extremely rare for more than 1 pipe to be blown up in these type of pipeseam walls, 'cause 1 tile is enough to send your units through it, and breaking any more would compromise your defense. which makes them into bottlenecks. they take some effort to break which would instead be directed at destroying your competitor. This problem can be downplayed by making such walls diagonal. this causes every pipe to open up for 2 fields instead of 1. can also include creative use with rivers/mountains for making these kind of walls more lofty but still requiring the destruction of the pipes so that ground-vehicles can pass through. though to be fair by the time your army has arrived at the other's pipe wall on this map, you already have all the properties and there is no chance of survive for your enemy. the middle lake seems lke itd be great fun naval combat if it weren't for all those ground bases sucking up funds.. i count 8 bases per side? That's at the very least 8 infantries per turn, and 8 opportunities for mechs, tanks or more expensive to be constructed |
