Tried a serious map for once, with a little bit of a twist. Also Funny Ha Ha center isle because I am child. I assume it's a balancing nightmare but, hey, where's the fun if we're not experimenting!? |

3 players map are always welcomed tbh. They’re really hard to balance |

Why're they hard to balance? |
Surto3 (10/20/2020 09:54am):
Well they're definitely hard to make. I once tried making one, and in my experimentation I figured out that you can place bases perfectly distanced from each other. I don't remember if it worked on maps with 2x2 centres (eg 30x30, as opposed to 29x29) but basically you use a distance that you want to have between the centre and your base, then you go roughly halfways that distance outward from the centre, and then roughly halfways into a side direction. Repeat two more times and check if the bases have correct distance from each other, might require some manual adjusting. I never did figure out how to make an entire battlefield though |

All the calculators you points out above is the reason! That’s only the distance from bases to bases and maybe HQ too, now apply it to every properties, terrain advance/disadvantage on 3 fronts. Not to mention the fronts also need to be balance in sizes, supply line, etc.. |

Oh, I think I just figured out the trick. Look at how the cities are placed in Stella di David: https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=52628 |
