What is the purpose of the carriers here? Are they just decoration? |

They are there to force the player to build an artillery and destroy the carrier before the player can start building air units |

Feels like player 2 has a much better position here having the extra Infantry near to the neutral base and an additional city is too much in general now add HF's to that and you massively handicap the first player. |

First player also have free infantry so that city only give p2 2k. If you do the match, up 1 inf + 2k = 3k (1/2 of 6k day 1) so its even balancer than in std. |

The carrier has several points. Many subtle and some obvious. The first, it can shoot air units, which you might think would never happen but if you're attacking the 1 base side the match can get stressful for your opponent and maybe they put a jet in carrier range while shooting down your bomber. They also cannot build out of the nearby airport with the carrier still alive. The second, there's a base underneath the carrier, clear the carrier and you get a second base and second airport. It turns your weak side into your strong side. You might think this is easy and free, you would be wrong The third, bar charge. If you go after your opponents carrier too early they will get a TON of bar, and they might use it to murder you, so you have to be careful of when you actually attack the carrier. Engaging it immediately will almost certainly get you killed against a decent opponent. The fourth, as Grit you straight up deny your opponents airports. So there's that. This is a good Grit map I think, arty is very strong on the strong side. There's probably more the carrier does, but I think I've made my point. The carrier is the most important feature of the map. |

I like the map, pretty strait forward without super weird and obtuse terrain forcing movement. DONT BE MAX unless you want a sever disadvantage to start |

I really like the design of the dual airports, but the setup of the aircraft carrier is very foolish, basically bidding farewell to the acquisition of additional factories |

Why is his win% so low if hes so good on this map? Not saying i disagree, just wondering why this is, with all that youve said, i was convinced he was top 3 or heckszh even 5s COs on this map, but nop hes actually pretty down there at the bottom lol with a pathetic 30%, and i honestly cant understand why. |

Rock Golem is correct - the carriers are a trap to attack too early, especially if you're trying to wall out someone with movement boosts like Adder or Max. If your opponent attacks your carrier, you better be ready to take advantage of it. @Mintaxer c'mon newer players don't get sarcasm 🫠 |

Sensei has a very high win rate and is played really often, probably because... he's super strong... two airports + masses of cities quite close to each other so COP & SCOP can provide immediate reinforcements/walls is obviously a wonderful setup. Isn't Sensei too much here, and thus ban worthy ? |
