A game of simple democracy No teams "but how do i play??" really simple, everyone (except for white nova, they dont get to vote!) votes for a country by sending a message, can be private or public, and then white nova captures the HQ of said country, be careful, private messages are a little dangerous, white nova could just say you voted for someone else, white nova can create new rules, is white nova being unfair/anti-democratic, or its rules are too strict/stupid? capture its HQ, but what happens if the other countries dont like you capturing white nova? they can take action by attacking you and/or voting you out via white nova's democratic system (TM), what if the people hate white nova? they can just gang up and overthrow the government, if white nova is out, game turns into FFA or Diplomacy play! and one rule: HAVE FUN! |
Surto6 (03/07/2021 05:42pm):
This is actually interesting |
rotpilz (03/08/2021 03:06pm):
You can aslo play in Fog of war, is white nova crying about someone capturing its HQ? cant really tell unless you're in the side of the person who is capturing, is white nova capturing your HQ? how do you make everyone else believe you until its too late? all this and more in this democracy lead island(s)! |
Surto6 (03/10/2021 01:25pm | Edited: 03/10/2021 01:25pm):
If you play in fog, then no one can stop the person capturing WN's HQ. Unless you were to stand on road, or two people shared vision with each other, but these are very unlikely scenarios, about 8% chance I'd say. Actually, WN could just share their vision, and then people can attack the centre capturer. |
Surto6 (03/10/2021 01:25pm):
I think it'll be interesting to see how the end-game looks like. |

I laughed, I cried, I ate a cyanide capsule. 8/10. |
Troll Master (05/10/2021 11:15am):
This is actually a really fun map. |
rotpilz (05/11/2021 09:42pm | Edited: 05/11/2021 09:48pm):
Changelog time!: Added emtpy silos to attack cities but gets you further from betraying the government :) Expanded the island horizontally by one tile, adding a mountain per corner (and surrounding said mountains with forests) you can now charge your CO powers!: SETTINGS: 10-15 Max units, 3-5k Income per property, Ban stealth (OPTIONAL) and black bomb, banning hachi AND sami is almost required, sensei can maybe stay if you want to play like the Original democracy, ban all air units, or for the boring option: disable CO powers ---------------------------------------- ENJOY |
Troll Master (05/12/2021 06:27am):
Sensei should definitely be banned as he can spawn more infantry and mechs. |
rotpilz (05/12/2021 07:17am | Edited: 05/12/2021 01:16pm):
Yes, but my reasoning was that those could be taken down with mostly almost any CO/CO power before they caused too much harm, meanwhile Hachi could just spawn a Megatank and destroy a minimum of 1 CO before getting captured, or even spawn a rocket and destroy the WN infantry Maybe banning the creation of infantry (mechs can stay IMO) and most highly technical vehicles (for Hachi to be able to spawn a recon or APC but not tanks) can keep them both unbanned and with their abilities still intact, now sami is a must, 4 fighters can charge her Super and insta cap or literally vanish one infantry Colin is a middle ground, he doesn't really have any benefit, but his super with high funds SCOP can nuke the game |
Troll Master (05/12/2021 07:48am):
But if Sensei uses his infantry to attack someone and then spawn a new one, he can definitely eliminate someone. Also if WN uses Sensei he can capture multiple HQs at once which I don't think should happen. |
rotpilz (05/12/2021 01:15pm | Edited: 05/12/2021 01:16pm):
fair |
riolusx2 (06/27/2021 03:45pm):
I love democracy |

Blasted confirm form submission |
tehol (09/04/2021 11:03pm):
This is brilliant |
tehol (09/04/2021 11:04pm):
although maybe the pipes should have connected in a circle, to allow an air FFA between all players on the edges if necessary |
Adept999 (09/17/2021 03:38am):
Rated 1/10 Because I don't like democracy |
Dubbz1 (10/03/2021 02:47am):
As tehol said, you should definitely connect the outer airport sections so that the game isnt a guaranteed stalemate if WN (or whoever captures the WN HQ) resigns/gets booted. Of course, this could still be a stalemate between the winner of the center island and the winner of the outer island, but that is much harder to fix and is less likely to happen, and of course this is only if WN resigns. To fix Sensei/Hachi being broken you can always just use ghost units on all the cities, and that way you only really need to ban Sami. Otherwise very interesting map! |
