FanZ (04/12/2021 10:20pm | Edited: 04/14/2021 05:02am):
This map is based on the European continent during World War II. This map contains four camps. The location of the HQ is determined according to the actual location of the capital. It can be seen from the HQ that they represent the axis powers: Germany, Italy and the Allies: Britain and France. Other countries, although they have played a role in history, have temporarily replaced them with neutral cities due to the limitation of game content. Based on historical conditions, the four camps have the following characteristics: Britain: Owning the most powerful Royal Navy. The only camp with an aircraft carrier at the beginning, with a huge number of warships, has absolute sea power in the initial stage. France: A solid Maginot line; Formidable Paris cannons; An armored infantry regiment with heavy tanks to compete with any army. Germany: It has a fast armored corps based on Blitzkrieg strategy; The U-boat relying on wolf pack tactics can break the balance of sea power; The unique V2 missile technology can give a fatal blow at a critical time. Italy: It has a strong Mediterranean fleet; The Army soldiers from ancient Rome have strong fighting power. Based on the historical background and geographical conditions, this map arranges the following elements as far as possible to achieve a better game experience. Arrange some important geographical elements: Arden forest Alps, the Strait of gibraltarian, the English Channel, etc. Arrange some important port bases: Scarpa Bay, Dunkirk port, Genoa port, Taranto port, Kiel port, etc. Arrange some special elements: Maginot line, Peneminder V2 missile base, etc. Some elements in the map may not appear at the same time in the process of history. In order to improve the interest of the game, they are added. The map is still a partial entertainment map, and can not be regarded as a wargame deduction map. What's more,It is difficult to balance the strength of both sides on the historical map. Because there are differences in strength in reality. When I design the map, I have achieved the balance of strength as far as possible, but I still need the actual test. Enjoy and feel free to comment! |

Wonderful map. While taking into account the history, an acceptable balance has been achieved. The Manstein project is not expected to be implemented on this map (although Dunkirk still holds the transport ships of the British and French allied forces) XD |

Germany needs to rely on the army to compete for ports in order to gain the right to control the sea in the North Sea. Otherwise, the German navy would have to be the sitting duck. PS:The design of the magino defence is very delicate. I can't wait to try France. |

If I had a dollar for every europe map in AWBW I'd be able to buy wall street Coolio map, predeployed better than any original campaign ever could |

Thanks a lot! This map is still in the game testing stage, mainly testing balance. It may be adjusted in the future. |

The lack of Yugoslavian and Albanian cities is saddening. |

Easy allied win, allies control the coastline and can capture neutral Spain + Norway airport and bottleneck axis germany at Skagerrak, then bottleneck German big army at maginot + ardennes with battleship support + block italy at alps, what this map needs is a way for axis to pressure allies easier, now its just a match about keeping axis away with an impenetrable wall while building up tons of resources to spam with |

I have tried to use Italy and Germany, and both have won. The core fun of this game is not to set up teams, but to win the final victory through the previous alliance negotiations between different countries. |
