This is my first real map, and I hope it's at least fun to play on. If you have any opinions/suggestions please let me know! (Also this map is designed for FoW, but could hopefully work well either way.) |

The map is really fun and engaging but one thing I don't get is what is the point of the pipe seam? I assume it's meant to be some kind of shortcut but I think everything will be just as fast going around. Perhaps it's meant as a way to block the piperunners path if destroyed? But with the placement of forests the only unit that can safely get in range is a rocket (or a jake or grit artillery) but at that point why not just destroy the piperunner itself? But its a fun map although I'm still confused about the purpose of the pipe seam |

Well I think my original intention was for it to be kind of both: If you wanted a quick path to the HQ you could destroy the pipe seam at the expense of the piperunner's movement, or if you wanted to hinder the enemy's piperunner you could destroy their pipe seam. However after making the map the pipe seam lost both of those purposes because of the factory placement and the short length of the pipe. Basically the pipe seam was meant for both of the reasons you pointed out, but ended being pointless. I might remove it in the future, but either way I'm glad you enjoyed the map! |

Minor update: moved the piperunners onto the pipes, and added a couple empty missile silos near the middle to help negate piperunner damage. |
