As a reminder, you cannot produce units on ghosted ports, ergo: Port Tobruk and the JS resupply port cannot be built on. This is an slightly updated version of: https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=87571 Hopefully this one is more fun and balanced! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ PREFERED GAME SETTINGS: ->CO Powers: OFF ->Fog: ON ->Weather: Clear ->Teams: (GE + JS) vs (BM + RF) -> Starting Funds: 12000 seemed to work fine Ban on: Stealths, B-Bombs. Use your gut feeling to decide if Carriers are a good idea or not. Property limit? If you don't want an end via surrender, you could set property limit to 30-40. _______________________________ CHANGELOG / GAMEPLAY SPOILERS: The sea battle should now have greater signifance and be tougher if the Allies choose to wait on it, whilst the free recon and infantry teleport makes up for GE's need to purchase a lander and makes the early-mid game for the Axis a bit more dynamic, whilst hopefully being a nudge to new players of how important vision is on this map. In addition, there are a few more roads placed on the south, which are to help the Allies fight more confidently by faster recon delivery. In retrospect, this scenario is a bit of an inversion on history, isn't it? The Axis wins if it survives long enough to accumulate a large army, whilst the Allies have to quickly push Tobruk to win. Although.. this scenario only focuses on the Siege of Tobruk, so it would've been more appropriate to call it that. Wait, isn't that the name I originally gave it?! Ah, but Operation Crusader sounds catchier. |

I'll be honest - judging by the opening turns of a game I'm playing on this map, and the units seen here, the Axis seems WAAAY too OP. Unless the allies' better infrastructure is enough to turn the tide after the initial confrontation |
