Kamuscha (03/05/2006 08:58pm):
As the name suggests, ban infantry and mechs in this game. |
meow123_456 (03/20/2006 09:13am):
Is this a remake of http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=10297 ? |
Kamuscha (03/22/2006 12:41am):
Yes. Slight changes added (port and bridge) and some footsoldiers added - mainly because the other map invites footsoldier spamming, so I devised a variation where you can ban them and still have a fun map to play on. |

The corner factories have little use other than housing cover Rockets if you ban Infantries and Mechs. I'd suggest finding an alternative for them since, right now, they are pretty pointless. Overall, I like the map. Its almost perfectly rectangular shape disappoints me a bit, but it's balanced, and original. 7/10 |
Kamuscha (06/06/2006 12:59pm):
they're not pointless. they're useful as funding and ye can buy any unit you want off of those corner bases and send them off with landers. 4 bases beat 3 bases. ^_^ so they are useful. |

Thats very true plus if your opponent didn't go for them then you would have an extra 2000g which can sometime make the difference. |

couldnt they be cities then if were talking about funds? |
blanci1 (03/12/2011 02:31pm):
Huh you stole my idea which i invented a few years later. Actually it might have an intereting twist to play with inf production if a mainland base was removed , making the islet base important. But whichever way looks original but perhaps the vertical battlefront will be a bit narrow and stand-offish?.. while the horizontal length may slow things down with long supply lines . Really would like to hear comments from people who have played the map. |
blanci1 (03/12/2011 02:33pm):
Ps. Is frostylight the same a Kamuscha then? |
