Has a little too much "Last Turn DisBalance" Purple Lightning has the greatest advantage, because of their easy access to the middle and extra resources AND infantry from the beginning The shape of the map is really nice though ^_^ |

You might want to move the factory on the upper left down a space or two. The other colors each have a factory nearer to them than to their adjacents, but OS has two that are closer to it, and GE has none. |

I'm afraid I don't follow. I actually counted out the spaces given to each country from the starting factories and the neutral bases. Each country has a slightly more favorable situation based on their respective turns. OS receives -3000 funds right off the bat (one fewer building * 3 turns). BM receives no fund disadvantage and the same base layout as OS. GE receives slightly closer bases. YC receives an even closer base. And PL receives pretty good base proximity and improved terrain benefits. So: OS: 12 + 10 spaces to neutral base, -1 starting city BM: 11 + 11 spaces to neutral base GE: 10 + 9 spaces to neutral base YC: 10 + 8 spaces to neutral base PL: 11 + 8 spaces to neutral base, improved terrain protection |
