The creator stated that he wanted a "hectic" map. As it stands, this is the furthest from hectic. It's slow, painful, and agonizing. The chokes make progress difficult for either side. You can set up a defensive line of Arty and Rockets if you want but you have to have AA or Fighters to counter enemy BCopters. The supply lines are so far back that any losses are tough to replace. Because of that, it's tough to make a decent push. You can't even sneak around with BBoats or Landers effectively. How I would fix the issues: - Remove the outermost mountains in the middle, the ones near the Shoals. That'll open up those fronts. - Add a forward Base for each player for more effective reinforcing. - Turn two of the central Cities into Airports. Ghost them or don't, up to you. - Add a second Port on each side, the side opposite the current one (where the "landing zone" is). This allows players to try to flank from either side. - Add a Road between the existing Comm Towers and the central Cities. - If you want to add some extra potential hectic-ness, throw a Comm Tower behind a Pipe Seam in each corner, and turn the two remaining central Cities into Comm Towers. |
