And so, the heroes arrive at the massive World Tree. It is said that Elysium can be found somewhere at its summit. Could it be true...? Well, there's hardly any time to dawdle on that question now since the villains are here too, ready to seize the tree as well. Better make a move fast! Welcome to my second project! Here, the main idea is a large map meant for longer 1v1 battles, filled with multiple choices and objectives to watch out for. I also wanted to give double HQ a shot somehow since I haven't really seen a lot of maps going for it yet. Players are pressed to climb the fabled tree to fight for resources. Eventually, battles should dominate most of the map, thus making it harder for the player to stay in perfect balance. Would the player temporarily forfeit one front to reinforce another, try to sneak away a few key properties from the opponent, or go for an early decisive push before things get out of control...? The choices are many. (Note to self: next time I'm using mirror symmetry, maybe make sure the map has uneven length at the very least, lol) |

Changelog: Revision 1 - 27 Aug 2021 - Replaced the landered Mech with an Infantry on both sides. (From the test games played, it felt like the front around that base was a bit too weak for my liking, having to resort to playing heavy defense against the opposing 2 base front. Having the base be captured 1 turn early may help alleviate the pressure somewhat.) - Removed the two cities at (12,09) and (13,09) and moved them next to the northern HQs. - Moved city at (10,04) down by one tile and surrounded the nearby base with forests. - Added shoal tiles at (00,21) and (08,23). - Moved southern landers to a tile above the neutral ports. |

This map is incredible! Well done. My new favorite map. The mood and the mechanics of it are great in tandem. 10/10. |
