9P expansion of https://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=119663.

Is it unfair? Yes it is.

And so there is! I’ll fix it as soon as existing games finish. Thank you Varker.

After playing this game and watching two others...

Sami is possibly Tier 0 on this map. Easily Tier 1 at least. Certain COs cannot stop her from
capping their HQ in the early game effectively, only Sensei and Kanbei have better infantry units
to contest her. Other Tier 0 COs like Colin and Hachi are most powerful in the late game and
could struggle against Sami infantry in such close quarters. There also aren't very many cities
for Hachi to really capitalize on with his SCOP, at best 2 cities in each square, maybe less if he
wasn't able to contest captures.

Add in the numerous HQs that have to be defended and their relative exposure, and Sami will
have an easy march to victory unless players put a lot of effort into stopping her.

Kanbei is the only CO that is completely unmatched on this map. His infantry outclass
everyone else's, and they are all you will be building for the first few turns. Interrupting his
captures is nearly as hard as Sami's, but he can effectively fight Sami infantry and her infantry
can't effectively fight his. The squares make it hard to use multiple bases, where it counts it will
often be only 1 base vs 1 base and his units are 30% better than your units at least.

Grit can do well. Artillery are affordable and his artillery can basically cover their entire square.
Once he starts securing squares, firing artillery over pipeseams will easily allow him to capture
neighboring squares. However, Grit's infantry are just standard strength and will struggle early
on against Kanbei, Sami, Sensei... Even Lash, since there's some decent terrain. The close
quarters also make it hard for Grit to really create a wall.

This map is really interesting and cleverly designed.
