It looks like there is a bit of FTA as the two bases OS is ahead on have better captures (more chains) than the center base. The first tank looks poisoned since it's probably better to keep buying Infantry early on to secure the captures surrounding the bases. If the tank is delayed, players can instead buy Copters from the central airports to threaten to lock the opponent's center base. This is a huge pain as the Copter does not have to commit to anything but still requires an AA to be bought at the center base sooner or later. If an AA is bought, the Copter can just move away and the AA will have a hard time following it. Copters bought in the corners would just need 1 turn more to threaten the lock so they would still be very good even if the center airports were removed/turned neutral. |
