yeah, so basically, an AW1 style team map, i've played this with some of my friends in real
life and it works out quite well, not just in theory. 2 main fighting points and good for fog, and
sea is an important element, unlike others where you just ignore sea/air or vice versa. So tell
me what you think, and I'll make improvements

FTA needs to be corrected. Also, I think you forgot a shoal in the top right by Blue Moon, 2
spaces left of the left factory.

You've got some nice terrain variety on land, but like Hyd said the ocean needs some reefs
so naval combat has more strategy involved and looks better. Five bases per country is
very excessive- the winning strategy involves building something on EVERY SINGLE
FACTORY, EVERY SINGLE TURN. with five per side there's going to be a LOT of clogged
islands and nowhere to land. Lots of narrow paths on the islands themselves as well make
this a bigger issue still. I'd suggest two of the starting bases be turned into cities , and
maybe one or both of the middle ones per side (left right). If you go one per island, then one
country a team gets 3, the other gets 2. The one with 3 could focus more on land, and the
one with 2 could focus on the sea.

Speaking of the sea, I doubt that boats beyond black boats and landers will be used much, if
at all. At about 15k funds per country, after the reqresite land units are all made (every base
every turn wins games), there won't be much left over for ships. They could just build
nothing but infantry for three turns while the opponent builds tanks and artillery, but then the
tanks and artillery will likely secure an island or two giving the other team more funds with
which to counter your single sub. Basically it needs more funding to support a meaningful
sea battle.

The slight asymmetry bothers me, because it means somehow one team will have an
advantage somewhere. That and symmetrical maps just look better.

Not to imply that you need these, but I'll present them for your convenience :)

Nascar- Team order of ABBA fixes any FTA. (I'm assuming teams are OS+YC vs BM+GE-
that way I don't have to whine about the chokepoints running N-S on the far sides :P)
