Work in progress. Maybe I can make something good with this one. Too complex, too many ideas. Need to sleep on it. |

Cool, an other map like stormiest glen. The one glaring problem I see right now is the silo that can disrupt the capture phase. Other than that this is a cool map. |

The silo probably isn't such a huge problem since there aren't any neutral bases to be captured. My main concerns are whether the choice really has much of an impact on the game and whether 2 bases are enough for the size of the map. |

I meant mess up the mech's capture phase, but after analyzing the map a bit more, I think the silo might actually be the worst choice... Right now, if I'm not mistaken, the choices are short term bonus, long term bonus, or longer term bonus. Which makes for some interesting strategies... |

Thanks for the feedback. Even if it the choice does not have a big impact on the game, I think it's fine. I included the stormiest glen's idea because I liked it, not because I wanted to make my map special (as in "Misc" category). I don't feel the silo will be a problem. I hope two bases are enough. There are two airports but they can't be used right from the start, and one is so far away it's nearly a joke. Right now I'm more concerned about whether the center terrain is interesting enough, and whether the capture phase isn't too slow or strange. The cities are very sparse. I'm not sure I have ever played a map like this, I don't even know how I would play the beginning. Also I'd want the map to be fun with fog. |

I think this is a really well-designed map, although I'm not a huge fan of the contested central city. The single front might cause some problems, but it's still a fairly wide front for stalemating to be a problem. 8/10. |

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but for the area with the mechs, it's possible to go for the area with 2 cities and later use a t-copter and infantry to fly to the area with the comm tower and essentially get both "bonuses." If you were going for the whole 1 choice only thing then this messes it up a little haha. Probably should place a pipe instead of the mountain, and also remove the pipeseam (because even if the mountain was replaced with a pipe, air units could attack the pipeseam and then a t-copter/infantry can be used there too) |
