it's not "on one half of the map." FTA and STA is looking at the entire map. and you don't want to advertise having FTA or STA on a map. (because FTA and STA are bad, and cannot actually appear on a map at the same time. Now, on to the map. Everything feels too orderly and straight, that's just because everything is on a straight edge. You should work on the shoals a little so they look better, though it's an aesthetics. I hope you don't think that the map is using symmetry for balance as there are assymetrical aspects to it. Nothing gamebreaking, but it's worth noting that there are certain locations that are easier to access for countries than others. The central area has so much clump to it that I'm not entirely sure what to make of it besides there being a lot of property touching each other. likewise on the outer maps. I think you could clean the map up by cutting down on the islands that are just a straight bunch of stuff and put in a bit more varied islands. Cut back on the property in the middle, fix the shoals up. I'm also going to suggest removing the third and fourth base each country has and removing half of the starting infantry. (probably spread the fta counter around the map a little bit as well instead of having them be on the left upper halves of the map. (just move the Teal infantry) Combat on this map is going to be a real strain. |

Yeah, he worded it awkwardly, but I think the map is more or less balanced. Everyone goes first from two bases and second from two, although obviously RF has some advantage over GS and AB, and CI has some advantage over TG and PL. Nothing too bad though. Otherwise I agree with Shadow Star's comments about aesthetics and property clumping. |

Took some of that advice and made some changes. More islands instead of "lines". Drastically changed the middle. Still making changes to the iddle. Far from finishes.... yet sooo close |
