First of all, you've given the FTA counter to the wrong country. The infantry should be
given to Cobalt Ice, not Amber Blaze.

Secondly, the missile silo creates a lot of problems. With the current setup, AB will
reach the missile before CI does, every time. If the FTA counter is given to CI, then they
will instead reach it before AB does. It creates a lot of imbalance and should really be
removed.

While I'm not usually that averse to seeing assymetrical maps, this map is a bit too
small to make it work. It's also a bit boring, with only one real front. The island is
largely insignificant and the top left corner could probably be better utilized than by
just sticking a missile in there.

Overall I think the following could be done to improve the map:

*Remove the missile.
*Add more cities to the island.
*Add properties in the top left corner and open it up to ground units.

Overall, though, the map isn't TERRIBLE, I suppose. It's at least not one of those
"BLACK HOLE VERSUS EVERYBODY!!1111!" where one player is given 20 megatanks or the like
and pitted against everyone else that most first mappers are prone to making.

Thanks for that! I always feel overwhelmed with the need to provide legitimate feedback on
these maps because nobody else really does. This makes me feel better because I was starting
to get hoarse saying the same things over and over. :)

When you've been here long enough, you realize that such comments are a waste of time.
It's only worth commenting on the map title, and on the last comment made by someone else.

I agree that those comments are *usually* a waste of time. Also, you may have me beat, but
I have been here quite a while now and I still can't help but want to make people get it.
Well, at least the basics of balance and playability. In my life in general, I tend to be
like that- I will go to great lengths to help someone try to understand what I'm talking
about if they're confused and I feel that the understanding will benefit them (and I only
*sometimes* have to chain them to the wall and glue their eyes open to make them pay
attention :P)

I might be especially enthusiastic in this case just because I used to be that guy making
horrible maps that nobody would ever want to play on. Finally someone who actually knew
what they were talking about gave me some real advice and directed me to the forum guides
and 6 years later I think I make pretty decent maps (for the most part). Who am I to
say that there isn't another poor confused Xmo5 out there making bad maps because nobody
ever told him otherwise?
